Achieve exceptional advertising results with Amazon. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Insights and Analytics Specialist to help scale our growing advertising business.

As a member of the Customer Success Team at Amazon Advertising, you will take a consultative approach, building deep relationships with advertisers, sales, account management, retail, and other Amazon business partners to analyze and measure the success of advertisers' performance on Amazon.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging Amazon's proprietary data and tools, as well as third-party research solutions, to generate insights.
  • Utilizing your advertising industry expertise and understanding of our customers' business to provide guidance to C-suite marketing leaders, via compelling narratives and frequent in-person client presentations.
  • Presenting findings and insights in a consultative approach to the client and collaborating with the relevant internal teams to provide a complete solution.
  • Dealing with ambiguity to decipher complex problems, select ideal solutions from a wide array of analytical techniques and concepts, and translate these into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally, communicating effectively across multiple business functions and geographies, and influencing marketing initiatives.
  • Account-level data ownership and analytics-related strategic conversations internally and externally.
  • Demonstrating deep analytical ability and developing expertise in Amazon's proprietary metrics, constantly evolving how we analyze and communicate data-driven insights to our advertisers.
  • Educating internal and external stakeholders on Amazon insights and measurement offerings by delivering learning sessions, writing training documentation, and producing whitepapers.
  • Advocating for data-driven decision making and encouraging clients to act on recommendations, and driving thought leadership.
  • Demonstrating a passion for learning new skills and adopting new methodologies and tools.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of experience in client-facing data analysis roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting role in the digital media/AdTech space, or 5+ years of advertising experience with a top advertiser (agency or client-side).
  • Ability to translate technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights for advertisers and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent data-driven storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advertising measurement methodologies, experimentation, marketing mix modeling, and consumer insights research.
  • In-depth understanding of advanced statistical techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, and fluency with analytical tools.
  • Complete understanding of the end-to-end process of marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
