Project Leadership Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving success on iconic projects across the Geelong region. With a strong technical background in land development and civil project management, you will lead teams of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support projects throughout their entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.
  • Lead project delivery by providing effective management skills to ensure end products meet client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts, and verifying executed contracts to confirm timeframes, milestones, procedures, and budgets to achieve project outcomes.
  • Establish comprehensive project plans, including resourcing, finance, risk, and quality, in conjunction with the technical team and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a relevant technical qualification is desirable.
  • Seven years of experience in civil project management, preferably working on projects involving stormwater/roads, land development, and councils.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, commercial acumen in managing resources and budgets, and the ability to deliver and manage stakeholders in a complex environment.
