Senior Energy Project Lead

Establish a cutting-edge energy project to enhance regional power grid stability, fostering Australia's transition to net-zero emissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies to prevent harm and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure on-site performance meets contractual obligations.
  • Develop project management plans including quality control, budgeting, and scheduling with robust reporting frameworks in place.
  • Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders to keep everyone informed and engaged.
  • Lead a high-performing team focusing on business objectives and effective resource management.

Requirements:
  • Hold a technical bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar-sized projects (A$100m+) with a focus on energy infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in managing construction teams and complex projects.
  • Experience with major energy infrastructure including utility battery storage or transmission substations.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and mitigate organisational risks effectively.
