Occupational Therapy Educator and Development Specialist

Austin Health is a major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education, and research across three campuses in Melbourne.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Educator. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
The key responsibilities of this role include contributing to the development of education, professional development, and training programs for Occupational Therapists, developing resources that support the education and training element of the workforce, designing, developing, and implementing a robust student clinical placement program, ensuring appropriate contemporary learning and development strategies are implemented, and supporting wellbeing and resilience of the occupational therapy workforce through supervision, peer reflection, and other support frameworks.
As the successful candidate, you will be an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA eligible registration and a passion to work in the field of mental health. You will also be driven to make a genuine difference in the lives of consumers and their families and community.
This is a fixed-term, part-time maternity leave backfill position available up to 12 months from January 2025. The hours per week are approximately 22.8.
