About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Data Architect to join our Chief Data Office team at Comcare (Australian Government). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our data architecture and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Comcare's data assets and architecture.
- Design and implement data solutions that meet business needs and drive data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data governance standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation to illustrate data flow through our systems.
- Assist in the development of internal standards to promote data quality and consistency.
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of new technology solutions in line with our target state data architecture.
Requirements
- Experience with a wide range of cloud-based data technologies and tools, including MS SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Strong practical understanding of data architecture, database structure principles, and standards.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
