In this dynamic role as a Hotel Porter, you will embody confidence and possess a deep understanding of how to create a truly unique guest experience. As the face of our hotel, you will provide outstanding service that leaves a lasting impression.

Your responsibilities will include greeting and welcoming guests, addressing their requests and inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

  • Providing clear directions within the hotel and sharing valuable information about the surrounding areas to enhance our guests' experience.
  • Efficiently handling, storing, and delivering luggage to guest rooms to ensure seamless service.
  • Valeted parking and retrieval of guests' vehicles with precision and care.
  • Maintaining our parking facilities to the highest standards, ensuring they are immaculate and inviting, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

We are looking for individuals who possess a friendly and welcoming approach that exemplifies exceptional customer service. Excellent communication skills and a polished appearance that reflects our standards are also essential.

A solid knowledge of the local area and upcoming Sydney events is crucial in assisting guests effectively. High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude that enhances the guest experience are also required.

A valid Australian driver's license is necessary to facilitate vehicle handling. Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, adapting to the needs of our guests and the hotel, is also essential.

About You:

You possess exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude, poised to excel in this role. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Hotels at The Star, making a meaningful contribution to our mission.
