Job Opportunity: Field Service Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to fill the position of Field Service Officer. As a Field Service Officer, you will be responsible for performing data collection duties from commercial and domestic properties across the Perth Metro area under our Western Power contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving company vehicles to complete most duties.
  • Obtaining and entering meter readings into a handheld data device on a 42 day cyclic reading schedule.
  • Disconnection and re-connection of meters.
  • Ensuring that final readings and other details are accurate and returned in a timely manner.
  • Providing services to the satisfaction of the consumer and service authority.
  • Contributing to the public perception of the company by dealing with the public in a courteous manner with high standards of personal presentation.
  • Completing all works safely using correct occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Traveling to regional areas to carry out the above duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Commitment to work 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 38 hours.
  • A current and valid WA driver's licence (auto and manual).
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills including conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to understand and follow work procedures and safe approach to work.
  • Highly motivated, flexible and organised.
