Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our Trust and Safety team at TikTok. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building industry-leading content safety systems that protect our users and publishers across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly-scalable classifiers, tools, models, and algorithms leveraging cutting-edge machine learning, computer vision, and data mining technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally and improve trust and safety strategy and model performance.
- Work with data analysts to understand and find data patterns.
- Develop and deploy advanced machine learning solutions directly to TikTok's global platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, audio, content understanding, or participating in large-scale online machine learning platforms.
- Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, and programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Good programming skills in Python and similar languages, and a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for learning new techniques and taking on challenging problems.
- Published papers in top AI conferences or journals is a plus.
