Program Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our Migrant Women's Support Program, providing leadership, guidance, support and consultation to a team to ensure achievement of quality outcomes for migrant women and their children impacted by domestic and family violence.

This is a full-time position that promotes and maintains a healthy and productive workplace through positive leadership, effective delegation of work and transparent and consistent decision making.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing people from recruitment through to performance management, with the ability to motivate and facilitate high levels of individual and team performance.

About This Role
  • A degree level qualification in Social Work or counselling, psychology, social services or a related field, and/or equivalent experience is essential;
  • Significant leadership and management experience, particularly in the provision of support to migrant women and children, is highly desirable;
  • Knowledge and understanding of social, emotional and wellbeing issues affecting migrant women and children is also important;
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse communities is essential.
