Job Description

The Lead (Subsea) Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineers and Operational Team to deliver project objectives.

This role requires a leader who is approachable, collaborative and takes ownership. The successful candidate will build strong relationships, communicate clearly and bring a positive solution-focused mindset.

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and execute project work scopes.
  • Interface and communicate with clients to meet their expectations.
  • Take responsibility for large and/or multiple work packages ensuring HSE / quality and commercial delivery.
  • Evaluate and enhance emerging engineering technologies, integrating them into projects in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Supervise and guide senior and project engineers through technical development, design review, constructability, HAZID workshops and offshore execution.
  • Review all engineering documentation prior to approval.

A Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, mechatronic, structural or ocean engineering or naval architecture is required. Experience with specialist software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is also desirable.
