Operational Leadership Position

This leadership role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of RCR OEM equipment. As an operational leader, you will oversee crews on site, manage project execution, and coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation logistics.

  • Lead on-site teams during OEM shutdowns, installations, and overhauls, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Supervise and support trades personnel according to project plans and client requirements, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Plan daily activities in line with schedules, guaranteeing timely completion of projects.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Conducting pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, promoting a culture of safety among on-site staff.
  • Monitoring work progress and addressing technical or resourcing issues promptly.
  • Overseeing tool preparation and ensuring personnel documentation is ready for deployment.

Leadership skills, basic technical drawing interpretation, and exceptional problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trades or Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic; or Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Valid Western Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Section 44 or Section 26 Appointment.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Confined Space certification.
  • Gas Test Atmospheres certification.
  • Demonstrated First Fire Attack training.

A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising trades teams during shutdowns is required, as well as proven leadership in fixed plant operations.
