Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing periodic balance sheet and statistical regulatory returns for external regulators.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare balance sheets and statistical reports for APRA, RBA, and ABS.
  • Maintain updated documentation to support annual regulatory audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, analyse data to drive decision-making.
  • Participate in process improvements to ensure adherence to control standards and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary degree in Business or Commerce, along with previous experience in financial services or banking. They should also have knowledge of regulatory reporting, data, accounting, and associated systems and processes.

  • Tertiary degree in Business or Commerce.
  • Previous experience in financial services or banking, with knowledge of regulatory reporting, data, accounting, and associated systems and processes.
  • Technical accounting and regulatory knowledge, including AASs and APRA reporting standards.
  • Experience engaging and managing stakeholder relationships through written and verbal communication.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is highly regarded.
