North Queensland Highway Safety Lead

The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in delivering the North Queensland Region's contribution to the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program.
This position requires leading and managing a team to ensure all program activities are undertaken in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct, manage and coordinate a team to deliver program objectives.
- Engage stakeholders for the program with government agencies and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and leverage internal and external expertise to achieve program goals.
- Collaborate with BHTSP teams across the state to ensure consistency in delivery and technical practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex engineering and contractual issues associated with the program.
- Monitor and report on program progress through regular submissions and reports.
This position is available in Townsville or Cairns. Please indicate your preferred location for this role on your application.
