We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team at Buildcorp. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE requirements into project plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar HSE role within the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards pertaining to HSE.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to influence positive behavioral change towards safety within a diverse workforce.
