Permanent Diesel Mechanic Opportunity

As a skilled Diesel Mechanic, you have the opportunity to secure a permanent position in our well-established maintenance department. Our team at Middlemount Coal mine site takes pride in maintaining high standards of equipment and safety culture.
Job OverviewWorking a 7/7 rotating roster, you will be responsible for:
- Performing machine maintenance tasks, including component replacement, overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling, and inspections on heavy earth moving equipment.
- Ability to work day and night shifts.
- Executing planned repairs within time and cost requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic).
- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Queensland driver licence.
- Experience with heavy earth moving equipment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
