
IT Infrastructure Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for PC hardware and software. The IT Service Technician will diagnose, install, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, and network devices.
You will work closely with analysts and administrators to ensure the efficient operation of the desktop environment. You will also provide training and support to end users and staff, and collaborate with other teams to resolve technical issues.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a challenging casino environment. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose, install, repair, and maintain PC hardware and software
- Install, troubleshoot, and optimize desktops and laptops
- Resolve network connectivity issues and manage cables
- Support network administration tasks like user account management
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades and patches
- Train and support end users and staff
- Collaborate with analysts and administrators for desktop environment efficiency
- Manage customer requests via ticketing system
- Maintain organized work areas and perform administrative tasks
- Manage hardware spares and perform tasks for sister properties
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- At least 2 years in hardware support and maintenance
- Technical training and certification may substitute experience
- Must obtain A+ certification within 12 months
- Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries, Blackberry a plus
- Knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS
- Experience with Office software and network printers
