Accounting Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Professional to assume responsibility for daily bank reconciliations, including matching of customer deposits and supplier payments in Xero.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, including matching of customer deposits and supplier payments in Xero
  • Raise quotes, invoices and proactively manage accounts receivable, including debt collection
  • Process bank payments, including payments to suppliers and licensors
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Perform month-end reconciliations of all general ledger accounts, including processing accruals and journal entries
About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using Xero or a similar accounting package
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Pivot tables and Lookups)
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience as an Accounts Officer or similar
  • Experience in month-end processes, including performing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting

As a highly skilled accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure seamless financial operations and provide expert guidance on financial matters.
