Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide consultancy advice and technical solutions to clients in project settings.

The role offers variety as client needs evolve, requiring collaboration between stakeholders from Defence Organisation, Defence Science and Technology, and Guided Weapon Engineering Organisation manufacturing.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and developing engineering documentation, providing training via short engineering presentations, answering direct technical questions from engineers, and distributing technical material from Defence Organisation and journals to engineers within Guided Weapon Engineering Organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering degree in a suitable field with at least 2 years relevant experience, or a technical/trade background with 8+ years of demonstrable Defence experience.

Requirements
  • Elevated professional knowledge of guided weapon systems and/or Explosive Ordnance.
  • Experience in engineering artefact development and review activities.
  • High knowledge of applicable weapon systems, equipment, or technology.
  • Experience using ASDEFCON principles.
  • Experience supporting defence acquisition or sustainment projects.
  • Knowledge of guided weapons / munitions and defence technical regulatory frameworks.
  • Explosive ordnance, materiel management, technical management.
  • Certification/integration activities, and EO/weapons-related Land, Sea, and Air operations experience.
