Caregiver in Acute Setting
We are seeking a skilled Registered or Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in a unique role providing care outside of the hospital wards and into patient's own homes.
- As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in acute care and provide treatments such as wound management, clinical assessment, heart failure management and more.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered or Clinical Nurse looking for a change in their routine. Our Hospital in the Home (HITH) service provides patients with an alternative to an in-hospital stay while still receiving high-quality care from a multidisciplinary team of health professionals.
You will be supported to use your excellent clinical assessment and communication skills to provide care to patients in both our hospital clinic and in the patients' home.
The HITH team has access to the same highly skilled staff, hospital technologies, equipment, medication, and safety and quality standards a patient would expect in hospital.
Our nurses provide one-to-one care to our valued patients and work autonomously, but never alone. Guidance and support will be immediately accessible throughout your working day.
This role offers unique benefits, including no night duty, flexible rostering, a variety of roles within the service, 7-day service with attractive penalty rates for after-hours and weekends, and qualification allowance for approved relevant courses.
While your qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values and attitude speak louder still. We aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, and Care.
What We Offer:
- Stable employment with opportunities for professional and career development
- Generous salary packaging to increase take-home pay
- A diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates the rich diversity of our community
Ready to join our team?
Apply online if you feel we are a good match and you have the skills and qualifications we are looking for.
