About this Role

At the forefront of our global communications and corporate affairs team, we are seeking a seasoned Policy Communications Strategist to spearhead proactive and reactive explanations of our approach to safety and platform policies. You will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in markets across Australia, New Zealand, and the APAC region.

This strategic role involves collaborating closely with various teams, including product, public policy, legal, international expansion, and Trust & Safety, to develop comprehensive communications strategies that build awareness on our safety efforts across key APAC markets.

We are looking for an experienced professional with 10+ years in communications, preferably in a technology company, who has a proven track record of developing and implementing corporate communications plans aligning internal, external, and partner communications against business priorities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Craft clear directives and messaging for crisis and critical situations.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to counter misinformation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key journalists and influencers in tech, policy, and business press.
  • Serve as an on-the-record spokesperson and communicator on complex topics.
