We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team at Smithfield. As a key member, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality and efficient production flow.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-speed production, with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform complex mechanical tasks. Technical trade qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending on experience).
About the Role:
- Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production.
- Perform complex mechanical tasks, including component change-outs and fault rectifications.
- Monitor equipment to meet quality standards and optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
