About the Role:

We deliver Early Childhood Intervention services to children 0-7 years, building on each family's strengths. You will also deliver goal-directed therapy services to young people and adults who may be experiencing learning, language, communication, feeding, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties. Services are provided collaboratively with significant others to support a person's community participation in a range of environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Early Childhood Intervention services to children 0-7 years, building on each family's strengths.
  • Deliver goal-directed therapy services to young people and adults who may be experiencing learning, language, communication, feeding, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties.
  • Emphasize parent, teacher, and carer education to nurture change and support the person's community participation in a range of environments.
  • Collaborate with each person's support team to achieve their goals. Work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other speech pathologists.
  • Support participants and others to develop and review individual therapy and support plans, ensuring goals are meaningful, meet the needs of the individual, and reflect their personal goals.
