Job Title: Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving security compliance initiatives across the business and contributing to various information risk management projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management: Oversee the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and any future frameworks, ensuring continued compliance.
  • Expert Guidance: Offer recommendations and support to internal and external stakeholders on security and privacy initiatives.
  • Policies and Procedures: Create policies and procedures to strengthen information security and privacy efforts.
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor risks, facilitate risk workshops, and design risk treatment plans.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit inspections, security assessments, and inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on Experience: At least five years of experience in risk, compliance, or information security-related fields.
  • Senior Role: Demonstrated expertise in a senior information security or risk and compliance role.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of technologies, including infrastructure and software development practices.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of information security methodologies, tools, controls, policies, and frameworks.
