Job Title: Maintenance Officer & Gardener

Job Description:

\

The primary objective of this role is to maintain the grounds and outdoor areas of a residential facility. This involves performing routine maintenance tasks such as lawn mowing, pruning, and weeding.

\

Responsibilities also include maintaining pathways, driveways, and other hard surfaces. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing waste disposal and recycling around the grounds.

\

Other duties may include inspecting and maintaining outdoor facilities and equipment, assisting with landscaping projects and seasonal tasks, and identifying and reporting any issues or potential hazards on the grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a strong knowledge of plant care, landscaping, and basic horticultural practices. The successful candidate will also be able to operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and machinery, and have good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.

Additionally, excellent communication and time management skills are essential, as well as a compassionate nature that enjoys talking and spending time with residents.
