**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time 15-month contract role that will provide an opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of alternative investments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day operational elements across our investment portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting deliverables. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recording and processing investment-related transactions and valuations
  • Ensuring compliance with investment mandate and regulatory reporting obligations and internal controls
  • Monitoring and reconciling cash flow requirements and balances
  • Preparing month-end work papers for regular reporting cycles
  • Reconciling key balances and investment data
  • Assisting with reporting obligations and year-end financial reporting and audits

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent
  • Completing or completed CA or CPA qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience post-graduate, preferably in financial services
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with ability to adapt and learn systems skills quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
