Automation Specialist Role

Our organization requires a skilled Automation Specialist to ensure the efficient operation of automated warehousing solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to operational callouts, error notifications, blockages, alarms, and warnings as instructed.
  • Exchange and refill consumables such as foil, labels, cartons.
  • Clean system parts during maintenance or in response to technical-related spillages.
  • Communicate system events clearly to relevant teams to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor Vanderlande equipment and provide guidance on proper machine process and operation to client/customer staff.
  • Clear system issues or blockages where required.
  • Perform low-risk tasks like repairing pneumatic leaks, replacing filters, and sensor alignments/replacements.
Qualifications:
  • Motivated individual with ability to learn quickly.
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience within a warehouse environment preferred but not essential.
  • Punctual, dependable, and well-presented.
  • Mechanical or electrical aptitude.
  • Current Forklift license is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • Physically fit.
  • Available for an immediate start if necessary.
  • Hold an Australian or New Zealand citizenship or have an Australian Permanent Residency with unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
