
Leading Research Scientist in Plasma Science and Biomedical Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our research program in Plasma Science and Biomedical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence, expertise in plasma processing and materials science, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a cutting-edge research program that integrates plasma science and biomedical engineering. This will involve developing innovative solutions for biomedicine and sustainability, building collaborations with industry partners, and contributing to the advancement of technologies in these fields.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct original research in plasma science and biomedical engineering
- Develop and maintain external research partnerships and collaborations
- Supervise research students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Contribute to engagement and service/administrative activities of the School of Physics and School of Biomedical Engineering
To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD or other research doctorate in a relevant field, a strong track record of research excellence, and demonstrated expertise in plasma processing and materials science. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
