Exercise Physiologist - Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Western Victoria. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a vital role in supporting injured workers in their efforts to rehabilitate from workplace injuries and facilitate safe and durable return to work programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of injured workers and develop individualized return-to-work plans.
  • To provide exercise interventions and education to injured workers to promote optimal recovery and return to work.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective treatment.
  • To communicate effectively with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transition back to work.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or a two-year Master of Physiotherapy program.
  • AHPRA recognized physiotherapist is mostly welcome.
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to establish good rapport with patients.
  • Strong communication skills & stakeholder management.
