Strategic Education Publishing Leadership Opportunity

As a visionary leader, you will drive the strategic delivery of high-quality teaching and learning resources that empower educators and students to achieve their fullest potential in the Australian educational landscape.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully managing large teams and driving strategic initiatives that yield measurable results. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of publishing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring the timely delivery of educational resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the profitable execution of a diverse, multi-component publishing programme that meets the evolving needs of secondary education in Australia.
- Leading and inspiring a team to deliver cohesive, high-impact projects that meet the needs of students, teachers, and researchers across the globe.
- Cultivating solid and productive relationships with business functions and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with strategic goals.
- Providing strategic input into budgets, policy, and other critical business decisions.
We seek an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the publishing lifecycle and the challenges and opportunities within the industry. To excel in this role, you will bring:
- A degree in publishing, education, business, management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing complex, geographically dispersed teams, including remote workers and freelancers.
- Expertise in managing budgets, developing project plans, and tracking progress towards key performance indicators.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
At Cambridge University Press & Assessment, we offer a competitive salary of AUD 140,000 - 160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including:
