Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lifestyle and Leisure Coordinator to develop and implement activity programs that promote the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

About the Role

As a Senior Lifestyle and Leisure Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. You will work closely with our Residential Manager to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement activity programs that promote the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of our residents
* Work closely with our Residential Manager to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support
* Collaborate with our care team to identify the needs of our residents and develop programs that cater to those needs
* Manage a team of lifestyle officers to ensure the smooth operation of activity programs
* Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and service providers to access resources and support for our residents

Requirements

* Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of organisational and time management skills
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain on employment
* Empathy for the elderly and disabled
* NDIS check
