This is a casual role providing personal home care support to older individuals in their homes, allowing them to continue living independently.
About the RoleAs a Home Care Assistant, you will provide domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation, personal care such as showering and daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing, community access to medical appointments and social activities, and supporting with daily tasks and routines.
Key Responsibilities- Domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
- Personal care including showering and daily hygiene
- Community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Provide support with daily tasks and routines
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families
- An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
