You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and team contributing the optimisation of resident choice allowing them to live their best lives.What You Will DoProviding basic mobility assistance such as walking with a resident or propelling their wheelchairAssisting with the delivery of meals and removal of dishes/meal traysSupervising residents in a memory support unitStocking resident's individual continence bagsApplying moisturizing skin creamsAssisting residents with glasses, hearing and other aidsCleaning resident rooms and laundry dutiesProviding emotional support to residents and assisting their families/visitorsAssisting residents to attend activities and do things that are of interest to themWhat you will bring:Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) – MANDATORY - working rights in Australia - MANDATORYHospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion and EmpathyAn understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)Who we are: PresCare Alexandra Gardens is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities.
