Senior Building Quality Officer Position

This role involves maintaining, updating and amending the Primary School Brief and Secondary School Planning Guide in collaboration with the Department of Education. The Senior Building Quality Officer undertakes building design and documentation reviews, research and development of technical guidelines, manuals, templates and project briefs in addition to post occupancy evaluations and technical building advice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education facility design and delivery, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. They will be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide expert technical advice
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures

Key performance indicators for this role include:

  • Successful maintenance and amendment of the Primary School Brief and Secondary School Planning Guide
  • Timely completion of building design and documentation reviews
  • Effective collaboration with the team and external agencies
