Project Director - Data Centre Fitout

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-performing data centre fitout projects. Your expertise in construction and technical fitout will be essential in driving project success and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with our technical team to design customised solutions that meet customer needs and align with data centre capabilities.
  • Coordinate with customer stakeholders to establish strong working relationships and facilitate effective communication.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality fitouts that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Provide client-side oversight and direction to the project team to achieve end-to-end implementation of new data centre solutions.
  • Lead and oversee development of pre-construction planning activities, including design coordination, budgeting, and procurement.
  • Undertake the role of Principal's Representative for building contracts and act as day-to-day interface with construction-related consultants and contractors.
  • Develop and execute project strategy documents, including project controls, procurement, communications, change management, and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimise project outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in leading the management and construction of data centre or technical fitout projects with a capital expenditure focus.
  • Good knowledge of local building codes and standards, including town planning and authority processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully developing, managing, and empowering high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, consult, and deliver a quality service.
