Safety and Injury Management Specialist

This role is critical to the efficient operation of the safety department within a leading international organisation in South East Melbourne.
The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to prevent and minimise work-related injuries, managing Workers Compensation claims, and coordinating injury management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to preventing and minimising work-related injuries and coordinate the management of all Workers Compensation claims
- Liaise with stakeholders, including injured workers, treating practitioners, and insurers, to facilitate effective recovery at work
- Provide guidance to internal parties on injury management developments
- Take proactive steps to manage area of responsibility by using initiative and suggesting improvements
- Implement policy and procedures governing Injury Management and participate in audits and inspections

Requirements:
