Job Overview

We are seeking a professional with expertise in health and wellbeing to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in occupational health and safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality services.

This role involves providing guidance to managers and team leaders on health-related legal requirements, identifying and assessing health risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks. Additionally, the successful candidate will support audits and management reviews, analyse sickness absence data, and champion the use of health risk appraisal.

A Day in the Life
  1. Provide expert advice to managers and team leaders on health-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  2. Support the development and implementation of health-related programs, including emergency medical plans and health surveillance.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address health risks, and implement strategies to promote a healthy work environment.
  4. Analyse data to inform decision-making and improve health outcomes.
  5. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on health-related topics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an OH&S role.
  • Formal qualifications in health and safety.
  • Experience in conducting effective training sessions for small groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach others.
  • Experience leading change projects to improve performance.
  • Participating in audit teams and/or improvement projects with more senior staff members.
