The Opportunity at APA is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing Specialist to join our Health & Wellbeing team in Sydney on a 6-month fixed-term basis. Reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Manager, you will provide advice and services related to Health and Safety (H&S) practices, potentially offering specialized technical advice to ensure employee well-being. The role offers flexible, hybrid work arrangements, with consideration given to candidates on the east coast of Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process workers' compensation and salary continuance claims.
  2. Establish case management strategies with relevant parties.
  3. Mentor and coach junior team members.
  4. Prepare safety performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
Your Background
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation and injury management best practices.
  • Excellent advisory and implementation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
