The Opportunity at APA is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing Specialist to join our Health & Wellbeing team in Sydney on a 6-month fixed-term basis. Reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Manager, you will provide advice and services related to Health and Safety (H&S) practices, potentially offering specialized technical advice to ensure employee well-being. The role offers flexible, hybrid work arrangements, with consideration given to candidates on the east coast of Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Process workers' compensation and salary continuance claims.
- Establish case management strategies with relevant parties.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Prepare safety performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation and injury management best practices.
- Excellent advisory and implementation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
