Workforce Health and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workforce Health & Wellbeing Specialist to drive continuous improvement in occupational health, safety and wellbeing.

The Role:

This key position plays a pivotal role in leading the execution of workforce health and wellbeing programs for our business units and locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead workers' compensation and return to work activities ensuring seamless integration with WHS regulations.
  • Identify injury trends and develop targeted intervention strategies.
  • Ensure health monitoring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide initial medical treatment and respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Advise on health, safety and wellbeing matters to management and staff.
  • Support proactive health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in nursing with current APRA registration.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial environment supporting workers' compensation, injury management and health and wellbeing.
  • Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Practical knowledge of emergency procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Understanding of HSE in a high-risk environment.
  • Cert IV WHS.
