Technical Specialist Position

We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our CTP team in Adelaide. This role involves high collaboration with claims teams and host insurers to ensure the highest levels of technical competence and service is achieved and maintained.

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for assessing all aspects of a claim, including liability determination, eligibility assessments, legal considerations, case risk management, file maintenance, compliance, and financial skills. They will also proactively manage claim determinations for complex claims, ensuring clear documentation of actions throughout the determination process.

This position requires strong customer service skills, effective oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have a technical capability background (Personal Injury/CTP advantageous) and the ability to satisfy a National Police Check.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing all aspects of a claim, including liability determination, eligibility assessments, legal considerations, case risk management, file maintenance, compliance, and financial skills.
  • Proactively managing claim determinations for complex claims, ensuring clear documentation of actions throughout the determination process.
  • Liaising effectively with host insurer teams and third parties as required, i.e., solicitors, IMEs, investigators, and financial accountants.
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to compliance measures.

  • A technical capability background (Personal Injury/CTP advantageous).

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to satisfy a National Police Check.
