Job Description:

  • We are seeking an exceptional Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and delivering high-quality software operations code using Python.
  • This role involves working across the entire Linux stack, from kernel to networking to applications, to shape robust open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
  • You will be responsible for simplifying open source operations for our customers and community, while demonstrating sound engineering design and testing principles in your code.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with at least one public cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, and be familiar with agile software development practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM or similar field
  • Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with Linux systems administration, package management, and operations
  • Experience with at least one public cloud and knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to work in a distributed environment with minimal supervision
