About the Role

This strategic leadership position will oversee the management of heavy rail facilities and property. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving strategic asset management plans and investment strategies to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accuracy, compliance, and currency of the Asset Register across the asset class.
  • Analyse data, assess risks, evaluate costs, and consult stakeholders to prepare evidence-based business cases, reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop integrated investment plans aligned with long-term infrastructure strategies, system reliability, and funding considerations.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of integrated Transport Asset Management Strategic Assets and Services Plans (TAM SASP) and Asset and Services Plans (TAM ASP) for the portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in strategic asset management, preferably within heavy rail or transport infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong skills in risk assessment, business case development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated investment planning and deliver complex asset management plans.
  • Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, safety, environmental compliance, and governance.
