Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipbuilding Fabricator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work in the maritime industry, conducting fabrication and welding duties while striving for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fabrication and welding duties as directed.
  • Understand and accept assigned tasks.
  • Maintain ownership and respect for tools and equipment.
  • Complete assigned tasks in full and to the required standard.
  • Assist in other trade-based sectors of the business during periods of reduced trade.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Essential: Trade qualification - Welder/Fabricator, Boat builder or Boilermaker.
  • Previous experience in Boilermaking/Welding in heavy industry.
  • Able to attain welding qualifications to Survey Body level standard.
  • Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
  • Demonstrate adequate theoretical knowledge.
  • Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
  • Possess good time management skills and ability to meet set targets.
