Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our childcare team as an assistant educator.

The Role
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in a safe learning environment from 3:05 PM to 6:00 PM daily.
  • Design and deliver engaging, stimulating, and educational activities that promote child development and well-being.
  • Supervise and support children during after-school hours, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options that cater to diverse dietary requirements.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters meaningful relationships between children, colleagues, families, and the community.
About You
  • Developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or be studying towards it, or equivalent qualification.
  • Commitment to child safety and understanding of mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday (mandatory).
