Early Childhood Intervention Opportunity

EACH Victoria is seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you will deliver supports to families, using evidence-informed best practice, to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored support options to children and families, using assessments, observations, and understanding of child development.
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring they are included and can participate in settings and activities they choose.
  • Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
