About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to spearhead our AI-powered engineering function.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our global engineering community to harness the power of AI-assisted tools and capabilities, driving innovation and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to tackle complex technical challenges, ensuring quality engineering outcomes through design and implementation.
  • Translate business requirements into effective engineering solutions, facilitating clear communication among team members.
  • Experiment with emerging AI-assisted engineering tools and capabilities, providing valuable feedback and insights from real-world testing.
  • Develop robust and reusable solutions that seamlessly integrate with other teams' workflows and products.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, aligning work with user needs and organizational goals.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, proposing improvements while role-modeling standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, uphold high-quality code bases, and assist in documentation for knowledge sharing.
  • Work on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment and addressing inter-dependencies.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and squad members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML and Gen AI applications, understanding their potential to enhance software engineering processes and improve productivity.
  • Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
  • Preferably have experience building Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and being a daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
  • Familiarity with or experience in Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf / Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
  • Capacity to provide technical direction to teams, reviewing designs and code to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation from ideation to prototype to pilot to product.
