Aviation Maintenance Professional

Coulson Aviation Australia operates a fleet of aircraft in Australia and globally, providing support to emergency services with aerial firefighting, transport flights, intelligence gathering, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities.

We are currently recruiting an individual to join our Fixed and Rotary Wing team as an Aviation Maintenance Apprentice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems under supervision and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
  • Document maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of records.
  • Be responsible for tool control and upkeep of hangar, workshop, or related areas.
  • Participate in on-the-job and external training programs as required.
  • Nurture a safe working culture and compliance with our Safety Management System.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced Technical Writing Skills.
  • Above average computer skills.
  • Previous experience disassembling, cleaning, diagnosing, repairing, or overhauling mechanical components.
