Sikorsky Australia has been awarded the Through Life Support contract for the Royal Australian Navy's MH-60R (Romeo) maritime fleet, representing the next generation of tactical maritime helicopters for the Navy.
Your responsibilities will include :
As an Apprentice Mechanical Technician, you will assist with hands-on repair, maintenance, and servicing of Romeo Seahawk aircraft and equipment.
Your focus will be on the airframe, flight control, engine, and landing gear systems.
During your training, you may need to move between Sikorsky and our partner's facilities and travel for theory-based training to gain the expertise required to meet the unit standards for your apprenticeship.

About you :
To succeed in this role, you should have (but are not limited to) the following skills and abilities:
A passion for helicopters and aviation
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance
Willingness to travel to complete theory modules of your training

Special Requirements :
Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
