We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead our team in providing high-quality care to our residents in Bateau Bay, NSW. About Our Facility

Nareen Gardens, Bateau Bay, is a residential care facility that offers a unique approach to care through our innovative Household Living model. Our Leisure and Wellness Team works closely with residents to ensure they have opportunities to engage in activities that bring them joy and a sense of purpose.

What You'll Be Doing
  • You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating resident care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • You'll take the lead in providing clinical services, utilizing your sharp assessment skills to identify and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
  • Liaising with medical and allied health professionals, as well as residents' family members, you will advocate for clients' quality of life and ensure their care meets their individual goals.
  • You'll supervise and support our Personal Care Workers, empowering them to provide the highest level of care and service to our residents.

As a Registered Nurse with Uniting, you will practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team and deliver person-centered care.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary up to $83,000 per year, plus maximum allowable salary packaging to pay less tax (additional $18,550 tax-free plus regional benefits plus parking).
  • Up to $5,000 relocation fee or $5,000 retention bonus - must commit to a minimum contract of 24 hours per week for 6 months.

  • Support to develop the skills you need to grow into a Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, as well as other clinical practice, corporate, and leadership roles.
  • You'll become part of a community of clinical practitioners that supports you in the continuous development of your clinical practice.
  • We are open to sponsoring you to work in Australia if you have a current AHPRA registration.
Requirements
  • Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
  • You'll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
  • Committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
  • Hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
