Job Description

Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and operational support to our organization, ensuring the effective management of our financial resources and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and budgetary support to our team, including debtor management, budget management, cashflows, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with the management of our assets, including office equipment, inventory, approved ICT software, ICT hardware, and vehicle fleet management.
  • Support the implementation of business initiatives to enhance performance and maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a self-help environment and foster productive working relationships across the organization.

What You'll Work On:

  • Finance and Budget Management: Assist with the management of and provide advice to our team on finance and budget management.
  • Business Improvement: Gather insights and make recommendations regarding business improvement initiatives, including assisting in the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, reports, and templates that enhance the quality of our operations program and ensure utilization, efficiencies, and simplification where possible.
  • Information and Communications Technology (ICT): Assist with the administration of the ICT hardware fleet, monitor inventory levels, coordinate repairs and replacements, ensure efficient allocation of resources, and coordinate software licensing arrangements, including renewals.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the agency's Asset Management Systems and manage inventory and the maintenance, replacement, and disposal of assets.
