Nurse Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nurse Educator to join our team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As an integral member of our academic delivery team, you will be responsible for guiding student learning, developing curriculum, and mentoring nursing students. Your commitment to excellence in education will facilitate engaging learning experiences, foster student growth, and contribute to the development of future healthcare leaders.

  • Provide evidence of ongoing industry currency through professional development activities undertaken regularly.
  • Submit regular reports on measures taken to engage students during sessions through creative activities and programs to deliver quality learning experiences.
  • Assessment markings must be done in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, with constructive and timely feedback provided on completed assessments to encourage students and support progression.
  • Conduct simulated and practical placement assessments.
  • Report on student satisfaction surveys conducted and ensure a minimum satisfaction rate of 75% is maintained.
  • Collect feedback from facilities as required by policy and procedure, and submit it accordingly.
  • Provide support activities for students with learning difficulties and special needs to ensure they complete the course adequately.
  • Attend regular educators' meetings.
  • Contribute innovative ideas annually to enhance quality program delivery.
  • Support the Curriculum Development team in developing curriculum resources, including content.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Nursing, a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse, and vocational competencies at least to the level of qualifications delivered or units of competency.
